Ok but would have been great if the shower water was hot and cart services were provided
The staff spoke courteously and the process of check in and check out was smooth. Location is not bad from haram. Room service was great. The room service man even helped with the laundry for which I was grateful for.
The hotel is way uphill. Not good for elderly or women who are not used to climbing steep places. I booked this hotel because of the golf car services provided by the hotel. However the services are rendered only going to haram which are not required in the first place as the way is sloppy and easy to climb down compared to climbing up. I called the phone number several times for pick up services from the spot (Makarem Hotel) to be picked up. They either don’t receive the calls or they don’t come to pick up. I waited for 30 minutes before walking uphill. The staff is not rude but they the services for pick up is not met. Even if the hotel charged us extra money to pick us up on a timely manner, that would have helped immensely! The shower water is not hot. It’s best cold to lukewarm.

What was the highlight of Abed Massoudi Ajyad Hotel
It is simply an affordable 1 star hotel which delivers its value by being quite near to the Holy Mosque.
I liked that it is near the Holy Mosque and the price is good regarding its location.
The room was moderately clean but full of flies which was very annoying. Other thing is that the Hotel is located on top of inclined street which made it so difficult for me to go back and forth. (There was a golf cart belonged to the hotel that lifts people back and forth but i didn't know of it till the end).
